OpenStage WL3 WSG Server
The Wireless Service Gateway (WSG) is an optional web-based appliance used for device management, messaging and alarm handling.
The OpenStage WL3 telephones needs a basic parameter setup with the PDM, which are basic WLAN and IP settings, to be able to communicate with the WSG.
Thereafter the WSG can be used to remotely and wirelessly edit parameters and update software of the OpenStage WL3 telephones.
It saves the parameters and software for all OpenStage WL3 telephones in a database with the maximum capacity of this data base being 2.500 OpenStage WL3 telephones.
The WSG is also required if LDAP access from the OpenStage WL3 telephones and interfaces to the alarming/messaging Server OSCAR are required.
The OpenStage WL3 telephones must log on to the WSG to enable the messaging and alarm functions.
Each OpenStage WL3 has also an own configuration menu. This menu can be used as simple option for single handset configuration.

De Wireless Service Gateway (WSG) is een optioneel web gebaseerd apparaat dat wordt gebruikt voor apparaat beheer, berichten en alarmafhandeling.
OpenStage WL3-telefoons hebben een basisconfiguratie met de PDM nodig, d.w.z. basis WLAN- en IP-instellingen, om te kunnen communiceren met de WSG-gateway.
De WSG kan dan worden gebruikt om op afstand en draadloos de instellingen te wijzigen en de software van de OpenStage WL3-telefoons te updaten.
De instellingen en software van alle OpenStage WL3-telefoons worden opgeslagen in een database met een maximale capaciteit van 2500 OpenStage WL3-telefoons.
De WSG is ook nodig voor LDAP-toegang tot OpenStage WL3-telefoons en interfaces met de OSCAR alarm/messaging server.
OpenStage WL3-telefoons moeten verbinding maken met de WSG om berichten- en alarmfuncties mogelijk te maken.
Elke OpenStage WL3 heeft ook zijn eigen configuratiemenu. Dit menu kan gebruikt worden als een eenvoudige optie voor het configureren van een enkele handset.
